The motor was torn down to freshen it up. The engine was replaced with a 250 inline 6 out of a 74 nova with 26,000 original miles. You could now drive it everyday and go 75 mph down the interstate with no hesitation. The original drive train was a 194 inline 6 with a three speed manual. Another great thing is that it only had 30,260 original miles and was all original. Up until I bought the car 5 years ago it had stayed in Neb for its whole life so there was very little rust on the car at all. The total for the car on Swas $2,309.35 after the woman traded in her 1950 Chevy for a credit of $334.35. I have all the originally documentation that came with the car new including the purchase receipt. This is a three owner vehicle that was originally purchased by a woman in Hebron, Neb. The car is drive-able as is, but needs someone to complete the final touches. A old friend and I started building it to complete a cool cruiser for the weekends, but health issues came up, so we need to cut our loses.
